Tree Topping
What follows are examples of "tree topping."
Tree topping is a very distorted pruning practice that damages trees.
Did the people that live here not notice that these are now distortions of
trees?
What sense does the tree topper have regarding the integrity of the trees
they butcher?
Do people 'see' these as ,
a) simply trees that were recently pruned,
b) trees with bad haircuts,
c) trees that have been undermined and damaged?
There is no way a pruner who sees the underlying
integrity of a tree will ever top it.
Destroyed rainforests, the holocaust, and other practices of genocide
require the perpetrator to 'see' without integrity?
When we objectify ourselves or others we
somehow make 'topping' ok.
What is the integrity of Second Order Intelligence?
Is it something other than to arbitrarily establish a self-serving blindness
or denial to escape dealing with the consequences of not being able to see with
integrity?
What sense does it make to expect someone to 'act' with integrity,
if they can not 'see' with integrity?
