When a self begins to integrate,
she becomes like the sea:
all streams run downward into her.
The more powerful she grows,
the greater the need for humility.
Humility means trusting the Self,
thus never needing to be defensive.
A fragmented self seeks integration:
When she makes a mistake, she realizes it.
Having realized it, she admits it.
Having admitted it, she corrects it.
She considers those who point out her faults
as her most benevolent teachers.
She thinks of her enemy as the shadow (image) that she herself casts.
If a self is centered in the Self,
if it integrates its own fragments
and doesn't meddle in the affairs of judgment,
it will be a light to all emerging selves in the world.
